Changing company branding on Autotask Workplace

Company branding is an efficient way to show customers, and employees, what your business is about. It is reflected visually via the logo and company design elements as well as through verbiage in marketing materials, slogans and informational copy. The Autotask Workplace product may be customised to reflect your company branding. You can apply company branding to the Autotask Workplace user interface, and to manage email and login settings.

This article describes how to customise Autotask Workplace to reflect your chosen company branding.

 

Changing company branding

To customise Autotask Workplace to reflect your company branding, proceed as follows.

  1. Log in to Workplace Online, by right-clicking on the Autotask Workplace system tray icon, and selecting Workplace Online from the menu.

Workplace Online opens on the Dashboard page.

  1. Click on the Configuration tab.

The Configuration tab opens on the Company Branding page.

The following branding attributes may be changed from the Company Branding page.

These are explained in the following paragraphs.

Changing company name and logo

The company name and logo are displayed throughout the on line portal. For example at the top of each page in the on line portal, or at the Sign In page.

  1. To change the company name, then at the top of the Company Branding page, simply delete the existing company name and type in another, or leave blank if desired.

  1. To change the company logo, then at the top of the Company Branding page, click Edit Team Logo.

  1. The Change Team Logo dialogue box appears. From here you can replace your company logo with another, or simply delete it and have no company logo shown.

  1. Change or delete your company logo as follows:
    1. To replace your company logo with another, then click Choose File, and browse to select an image file containing your new logo. The image must be in JPEG, GIF or PNG file format.
    2. To delete your company logo, simply click Delete Custom Logo.
    3. Click CHANGE.

Your company name and/or logo are changed or deleted.

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the Company Branding page and click SAVE to save your changes.

Changing email headers

Customised headers are displayed in the header of user registration emails, and in event emails, sent from Autotask Workplace.

  1. To change the email headers, then in the Email Sender "From" Name pane, delete the existing entry and type in another. The left hand side text box contains the header for user registration emails and the right hand side text box contains the header for event emails.

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the Company Branding page and click SAVE to save your changes.

Changing colour scheme

A colour scheme may be selected to reflect your company branding. The chosen colour scheme is used throughout the on line portal. The example below shows a blue colour scheme, as used by Cloud Direct (together with the Cloud Direct company name and logo).

The colour scheme may be changed to meet your company needs. To change the colour scheme, proceed as follows.

  1. In the Colour Scheme pane, from the row of coloured squares, click the colour you would like to use.

The image in the Preview pane changes colour to reflect your choice.

  1. Click on the arrow , or click Detail, Email, or Login Page, to preview your chosen colour scheme in different areas.
  2. When you are happy with your chosen colour scheme, scroll to the bottom of the page and click SAVE.

Your changes are now saved.
