Allen and Overy signs 68m outsourcing contract extension

Legal firm Allen and Overy has signed a £6.8 million outsourcing contract extension this week, according to reports.
IT services firm Savvis will manage its server and storage infrastructure.
The company already had a £5.5 million hosting deal with A&O from early last year.
Dave Burwell, CIO of Allen & Overy, said: "Over the past 18 months, Savvis' hosting services have met our demanding requirements with regards to security, reliability and international reach.
"Savvis has also demonstrated the highest level of performance and service, giving us confidence to expand our contract to include a broader set of fully managed services."
A&O is a global law firm with more than 5,000 employees across the world in over 24 different locations.
Richard Warley, International Managing Director for Savvis, said: "Savvis provides an integrated portfolio of managed hosting and network services that are designed to be flexible and can grow easily with companies over time."
