Employees and contractors frequently perform employment-related tasks which require connecting to [the organisation’s] networks, systems or email. Employees and contractors may want to use their own desktop computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones, or other devices in the process.
This policy describes the steps these individuals must take when connecting personal devices to [the organisation’s] systems, email, and networks. [The organisation] reserves the right to revoke employees’ rights to use their own devices if employees do not abide by the policies and procedures outlined below. Employees must agree to the terms and conditions set out in this policy in order to be able to connect their devices to the organisation’s networks, systems and emails.
