Bath, March 26th 2010 – Bath-based IT services firm, Cloud Direct, were today chosen as winner of Real Business Magazine’s ‘Customer Kings’ award. Sponsored by Cisco, ‘Customer Kings’ is a programme that recognises small to medium sized UK companies that provide exceptional levels of customer engagement and service.
Real business Magazine joined forces with Cisco and spent five months soliciting submissions from across all sectors in the UK. The panel of experts included Simon Nixon, founder of online price comparison site moneysupermarket.com and SimonSeeks.com; Real Business’ Charles Orton-Jones; Tricia Philips, business, careers and finance editor of The Daily Mirror; and Cisco’s own David Critchley, Director of UK SME and Commercial Division.
Customers choose Cloud Direct because of its high quality tailored support and customer service packages. The company undeniably delivers great products, ranging from online server backup to managed IT security, but it’s the method of delivery – providing a stress-free experience to its customers - that truly marks out Cloud Direct as different from its competitors.
“Being labelled a ‘Customer King’ is fantastic”, comments Brett Raynes, Managing Director of Cloud Direct. “We see it as the result of many years hard work looking to provide the best possible experience to Cloud Direct customers. We think that in the coming years competitiveness will be strongly linked to service excellence – that’s why we have invested heavily in both the people and processes needed to make and keep promises.”
The newly-awarded ‘Customer King’ status follows the company’s recent accreditation as an ‘Investor in People’ and as a ‘Beacon Company’ – recognition as one of the South West’s best performing businesses. “We see these accolades as a sign that we’re moving in the right direction”, continues Raynes. “Rather than curl up and take the punches of the recession we saw it as a real opportunity to refocus our business priorities. By concentrating on what we do well we consistently do it better, and that’s how the message gets out.”
“Cloud Direct plans to break out into the revived economy as the most innovative and honest IT services provider to UK businesses.”
