DRaaS with Azure Site Recovery

DRaaS with Azure Site Recovery

Your business can’t afford downtime but having a secondary data centre on standby doesn’t come cheap. With hardware, software and resourcing costs, protecting workloads is expensive and time-consuming. Our Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) with Azure Site Recovery makes it easier to protect your IT infrastructure and make sure your business-critical systems are available when you need them.

Azure Site Recovery replicates your on-premises physical servers and virtual machines to Azure. If an outage occurs in your primary location, you fail over to Azure within moments of activating your recovery environment and your applications and workloads will continue to be available. When normal operations resume, you fail back to your primary location.

Our DRaaS with Azure Site Recovery includes a range of managed service options from support when you need it, to a full business continuity and disaster recovery service with proactive monitoring, including daily automated tests, and a complete recovery test and review every 12 months. All options include access to our custom-built dashboard and portal for additional monitoring and reporting capabilities.

Less downtime, faster recovery

Less downtime, faster recovery

Azure Site Recovery helps you achieve lower recovery point objective (RPO) and recovery time objective (RTO) targets for every major system in your organisation. You can protect your business against outages of critical systems including SQL Server, Exchange, SharePoint, SAP and Oracle and maintain availability of your data and applications during an unplanned event.

Orchestrated disaster recovery

Orchestrated disaster recovery

Azure Site Recovery helps automate the orderly recovery of services in the event of a site outage at the primary data centre. Applications can be brought up in an orchestrated fashion to help restore service quickly, even for complex multi-tier workloads.

Pay as you go costs

Pay as you go costs

You only pay for the time and data you actually use rather than the huge cost of maintaining a secondary data centre. You can also monitor your usage and keep track of current Azure spend in real time, with costs broken down per component, such as per VM, and accurate forecasts of predicted monthly spend.

Dashboard monitoring and reporting

Dashboard monitoring and reporting

Our custom-built dashboard brings together all the critical data you need to monitor and report on recoverability in one place. You can check the status of protected VMs, current and target RTO and RPOs and run test scenarios. Graphs provide visual reports on RPOs, the number of protected VMs and storage used over time.
