Cloud Direct acquires fifth IT business in 20 months

Bath, UK – 9th February 2017: Cloud Direct, the cloud solutions provider (CSP), today announced its acquisition of Connect Support Services.
- This is Cloud Direct’s fifth acquisition since June 2015
- Last month, January 2017, Cloud Direct announced its acquisition of AOG Group
- Cloud Direct takes on Connect Support Services employees and their 300 customers
This latest acquisition is part of Cloud Direct’s ongoing, ambitious organic and acquisitions-based growth strategy. It follows hot on the heels of Cloud Direct’s January acquisition of AOG Group , a Microsoft gold partner for hosting and communications. In previous months, Cloud Direct acquired Redblade in July 2016, ihotdesk in December 2015 and Datel Business Systems in June 2015.
The acquisition of Connect Support Services further strengthens Cloud Direct’s customer services and technical support capabilities. As a gold Microsoft CSP partner, the acquisition particularly serves to bolster Cloud Direct’s offerings around Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and hosted desktop.
