LiveVault firewall and IP port rules

The following information identifies the ports and IP addresses that must be allowed on your network firewall to support LiveVault services.

Most of Cloud Direct's LiveVault customers will use only the European Data Centers. However, information for Data Centers in Canada and the USA has also been included, for information only.

These address rules are for outbound connections from the protected server to the internet.

European Data Centers

Note: Port 2147
LiveVault uses a single out-bound initiated port for all communications with customer's servers. This allows LiveVault to securely pass through customer's existing firewalls and routers.
Port 2147 is registered for this use, but LiveVault will dynamically look for another port (again, out-bound only) if this one is unavailable.
